24) This is Ed. He's a cinematographer based out of Los Angeles. His mohawk is loud, but comparably he's thoughtful and soft-spoken. He does his movie-magic at www.wuhawkproductions.com
23) This is my friend Barrington. He's an actor, rapper and all-around eccentric. He's a taxi driver and has a plethora of interesting stories to prove it.
22) This is my friend Dan. He reads philosophy, plays guitar and tends to dress well, too. The trifecta.
21) This is Jared. He was surprised when I asked for his picture. "Look at you! Your get-up is killer!" I said. He cocked his head side-ways and shrugged at me, then quickly smiled and acquiesced to my request.
20) This is Sam. His resplendent outfit caught my eye at the Gay Pride parade. When I caught up with him and asked to take his picture, his poses seemed practiced. "It's easy when you look this good," He told me.
19) This is Gary. He's got a two parrots and a plethora of interesting stories. "The birds are a great conversation starter," he said, "and will poop on people I don't like if needed".
18) This is Luke. When he's not teaching Yoga he's slangin' Levi's jeans at the Revival men's pop-up shop. I bought a pair.
17) This is Teah. She works at Revival. Her skill with fabric scissors is enviable.
16) This is my friend Zach. He's a wizard on the drum set and the bball court.
15) This is Paula. She sells handmade geode jewelry at the farmers market... When she's not tending her garden or working at the rec center, that is.
14) This is Luther. He travels the world and juggles. Rumor has it he also swallows swords.
13) This is Patrick. He's a student and videographer. We talked cameras for the better part of an hour.
12) This is Ashley Davis. He's traveling around the United States. Hasn't been back in IC in years. Said he didn't love the way it's changed, but he did really like the sandwiches at NODO.
11) This is David. He's been to 194 countries and currently calls Thailand home. He stopped me along the road, pointed at his camera, and enthusiastically said, "Nice day to take some pictures don't you think?" I agreed.
10) I felt uncomfortable approaching this boy. I didn't want to come off as a creep. I asked for his picture and he nodded enthusiastically and threw up this pose. It was perfection.
9) This is Shaye. I know her only a little bit. She found me walking through the pedmall. I snapped her picture, then her and her friends helped me work up the courage to approach more strangers.
8) This is Katherine. She's (somewhat) Czech. Her hair isn't naturally red, but it sure fooled me.

6) This is Rick. I showed him the photo of the other Rick I'd taken a photo of and asked if he knew him. He did. Small Iowa City world.
5) This is Rick. When I asked to take his picture, he didn't respond. At first I thought he didn't hear me. Then he slowly cracked a smile, nodded and asked, "what camera is that?"
4) This is Briana. She came into the camera store eager to learn about videography. The Caveat? She was deaf. Between notepad and charades we spent an hour discussing techniques and gear. It was an incredibly humbling experience.
3) This is JR. He works at Bruegger's. He wants to open his own cafe.
2) This is Jeff. He's in a band called The Olympics. He's also a pretty good basketball player.
1) This is Evan. Technically not a stranger, but a portrait nonetheless. Evan is the most photogenic dude I know.
